Who This Is For
- ▸ Gundam SEED Destiny fans — who want the iconic ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam on their desktop — the classic white/red/blue color scheme and red transparent wing backpack make this one of the most visually striking keycap sets in the Johnny collection.
- ▸ Artisan keycap collectors — who focus on mecha designs with dynamic silhouettes — the wing backpack adds an imposing display presence that goes beyond standard keycap forms.
- ▸ Gundam keyboard builders — assembling a themed setup — the 3-key set integrates seamlessly with other Johnny keycaps or standard keycap layouts.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE PURCHASING!
▸ 3-Key Set
This product includes 3 keycaps (head component + left shoulder armor + right shoulder armor) with detachable wing backpack, not a single keycap.
▸ No Built-in LED
The keycaps do not contain integrated LED components. Any light-through effects rely on semi-transparent resin and your keyboard's backlight.
▸ Artisan Craftsmanship
Each set is hand-painted, so slight color and finish variations between units are normal and part of the artisan character.
▸ Keyboard Not Included
This is a keycap set only; the mechanical keyboard shown in photos is for demonstration purposes.
▸ Pre-Order Item
Production time: approximately 1 month. Limited to 20 sets per month. Full payment required at checkout.
▸ Damage Inspection
Please inspect your order upon delivery and document any defects or shipping damage within 48 hours.
Red Transparent Wing Backpack – Imposing Display Presence
- Detachable red transparent wings with mechanical joint detail — recreates Destiny Gundam's iconic flight silhouette
- Multi-layer translucent wing panels create depth and visual impact on your desktop display
The standout feature of this keycap set is the red transparent wing backpack. Each wing is carefully crafted with layered translucent resin panels and metallic mechanical joints, faithfully replicating the Destiny Gundam's striking wing structure. The wings are detachable, allowing you to display the keycap with or without the backpack depending on your preference.
Hand-Painted ZGMF-X42S Detail
- Classic white/red/blue Destiny Gundam color scheme with precise panel-line detailing
- "X42S DESTINY" marking on shoulder armor — authentic reproduction of the mobile suit identification
Every set is hand-painted by Johnny with meticulous attention to detail. The white armor panels, red chest accents, blue shoulder armor with printed "X42S DESTINY" markings, and yellow antenna — all faithfully reproduced in miniature.
LED Light-Through Compatible Eye Detail
- Translucent resin in the eye area allows keyboard RGB to shine through — brings Destiny Gundam to life
- Compatible with both Top-Mounted and Bottom-Mounted LED positions
The head component features translucent resin in the eye area, designed to allow your keyboard's RGB lighting to shine through. This creates a striking LED light-through effect that makes the Destiny Gundam's iconic mono-eye glow on your desktop.
Premium Collector's Packaging
- Arrives in a black gift box with gold foil "JOHNNY" branding — perfect for display or gifting
- Custom foam inserts protect each component during shipping
Each keycap set comes in premium collector's packaging — a sleek black box with gold foil "JOHNNY" branding. Inside, custom-cut foam inserts securely hold all components, ensuring your artisan keycap arrives in pristine condition.
