Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this keycap compatible with my mechanical keyboard?
This keycap is designed for Cherry MX and MX-compatible switches, which is the most common switch type in mechanical keyboards. Most popular brands including Keychron, Razer, Logitech G series, and Ducky use compatible switches. However, we recommend checking your keyboard's specifications to confirm switch compatibility before purchasing.
Q: Does the keycap have built-in LED lights?
No, the keycap itself does not contain internal lighting. Instead, it features strategically placed translucent parts that work with your mechanical keyboard's existing RGB or LED backlighting. This allows the keyboard's light to shine through, creating a stunning glow effect that highlights the keycap's design details.
Q: Why is this keycap limited to 20 units per month?
Each keycap is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, which is a time-intensive process. The 20-unit monthly limit ensures we maintain the highest quality standards while also creating exclusivity for collectors. Once sold out, customers need to wait for the next production cycle. We recommend placing your order early to secure yours.
Q: Can I customize the color or design?
Currently, this EVA Unit-01 edition comes in the signature purple-green color scheme inspired by the anime. Customization requests may be considered for future special editions. If you have specific customization needs, feel free to contact us with your requirements, and we'll explore possibilities for custom orders.
Q: How should I clean this artisan keycap?
For routine cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth or compressed air to remove dust. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, or ultrasonic cleaners.
