HD Fluorescent Ink — From the Mercury to Your Display Shelf
- These decals reproduce the Calibarn's distinctive unit markings, shell unit identifiers, and thruster warning labels in high-definition fluorescent ink — sharp under normal light and vivid under UV or blacklight.
- Printed on ultra-thin transparent film, the markings settle seamlessly into the Calibarn's white and purple armor surfaces, preserving the kit's clean silhouette without adding unwanted bulk.
Die-Cut to Bandai's HG Manual — Chest Shell to Beam Tonfa
- Every decal is precision die-cut and mapped directly to Bandai's official HG 1/144 Gundam Calibarn instruction manual — from the iridescent chest shell unit labels to the beam tonfa grip markings, each piece is shaped to fit its designated panel.
- Designed exclusively for the Gundam Calibarn (X-EX01) from The Witch from Mercury, covering armor panel details, weapon identifiers, and mobile suit designation codes across the full kit.
Layered Detail for Witch-Grade Builds
- The HG Calibarn's design features intricate panel work and sharp angular armor — these decals are engineered to complement that complexity, adding crisp warning stripes and unit insignia that bring out the kit's distinctive Witch-era aesthetic.
- Whether displayed alongside your Aerial or as a standalone centerpiece, the fluorescent finish adds a striking layer of detail that standard stickers cannot replicate, day or night.
Care Instructions
- ▸ Clean applied areas with a soft brush or microfiber cloth — avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the decal film.
- ▸ Apply a clear top coat (gloss or matte) after decal placement to seal and protect the markings from handling wear.
- ▸ Do not use solvents or enamel thinners directly on unsealed decals, as these may dissolve the film.
- ▸ Store unused decal sheets in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive strength.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE PURCHASING!
▸ Decal vs. Sticker
These are waterslide decals (not peel-and-stick stickers); they require water and basic tools for application.
▸ Top Coat Recommended
Applying a clear coat after placement is strongly recommended to protect the fluorescent markings from wear.
▸ Artisan Craftsmanship
Slight color and finish variations may exist between production batches due to the printing process.
▸ Kit Not Included
This product contains decals only; the HG 1/144 Gundam Calibarn model kit is sold separately.
▸ Skill Level
Suitable for all skill levels, but patience is recommended for best results on curved surfaces.
▸ Damage Inspection
Document any defects or shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are these waterslide decals or regular stickers?
These are waterslide decals — they require soaking in water before application. Unlike peel-and-stick stickers, waterslide decals blend into the model surface for a realistic, factory-painted look once a top coat is applied.
Q: What tools do I need to apply these decals?
You'll need tweezers, a shallow dish of water, a cotton swab or toothpick for positioning, and optionally Mr. Mark Setter / Mr. Mark Softer (or equivalent decal softening solution) for best results on curved surfaces.
Q: Do the fluorescent markings actually glow in the dark?
Yes. The HD fluorescent ink is UV-reactive — the markings glow vividly under blacklight or UV light. Under normal lighting, they display as sharp, high-contrast graphics.
Q: Will these fit other Witch from Mercury kits like Aerial or Lfrith?
No. These decals are designed specifically for the HG 1/144 Gundam Calibarn (X-EX01). They will not align correctly on Aerial, Lfrith, or other Witch from Mercury kits.
Q: How do the decals interact with the Calibarn's iridescent chest shell?
The decals are designed to complement, not cover, the kit's molded-in iridescent finish on the chest shell unit and antenna. Apply chest-area decals to surrounding armor panels to frame the shell unit's natural shimmer.
Q: Should I apply a top coat over the decals?
Strongly recommended. A clear top coat (gloss or matte, depending on your preferred finish) seals and protects the decals from scratches, moisture, and handling wear over time.
