▸ Large Scale Application
The 1/60 scale presents unique challenges. Due to model's size and complexity, decal application may take longer and require more patience than smaller scales.

Tools Needed
- Soft tweezers
- Warm water and bowl
- Soft brush or cotton swabs
- Paper towels
- Decal setting solution (recommended for large surfaces)
- Matte spray varnish (recommended for protection)
Application Steps for 1/60 Scale
- Cut: Cut out decal close to the design. Large-scale decals may require careful cutting.
- Soak: Place in warm water for 30-60 seconds until it slides freely. Large decals may need longer soaking.
- Transfer: Use tweezers to carefully slide onto the large model surface.
- Position: Adjust with soft brush, remove air bubbles and excess water. Larger areas require more careful work.
- Dry: Allow 1-3 hours to dry completely depending on humidity and decal size.
- Protect: Apply clear coat for durability (highly recommended for large-scale models).
Large-Scale Tips
- 💡 Patience Required: The 1/60 scale size means decal application will take longer than smaller kits. Take breaks as needed. Large-scale decals require careful, unhurried work for professional results.
- 💡 Work in Sections: Divide the massive model into sections and apply decals gradually. This prevents overwhelm and ensures consistent quality across the entire large kit.
- 💡 Eliminate Air Bubbles: Use soft brush to work from center outward. For large decals, trapped air bubbles are more noticeable. Take extra time to smooth them out completely before drying.
- 💡 Film Visibility Solution: The ultra-thin carrier film is designed to disappear after clear coating. For the 1/60 scale's large surfaces, clear coating is highly recommended to minimize any visible film edges and create a seamless finish.
- 💡 UV Display: Use UV light (365-395nm) in dark environment. The massive scale creates impressive fluorescent effects that transform your display into a museum-quality showcase.
Care and Storage Instructions
- ▸ Storage: Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep in original packaging to prevent damage to the large sheet.
- ▸ Application Tips: Work in well-lit area with adequate workspace for the large sheet. Keep hands clean and dry. Avoid touching the printed surface of decals.
- ▸ After Application: Allow decals to dry completely before handling the large model. Apply clear coat for protection (highly recommended). Clean with soft, dry cloth or compressed air.
