MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW Pre-Cut Masking Paper & Etchings Precision Upgrade Kit for Bandai MGSD XXXG-00W0 — Laser-Cut Washi Masking Sticker (4 Sheets) + Stainless Steel Detail Etchings

What's This Product

Building the Bandai MGSD XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero EW — the Master Grade SD kit that brings the iconic angelic mobile suit from Endless Waltz to life with five-layer articulated wings and bird-mode transformation? NEWC Pro Pre-Cut Studio delivers two precision-engineered upgrades designed exclusively for this kit: laser-cut pre-cut masking paper (4 sheets) for clean, professional color separation across the complex wing and armor surfaces, and stainless steel detail etchings that add micro-scale realism to the head, armor, and mechanical panels.

This product contains only upgrade accessories — the MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW model kit itself is not included.

Laser-Cut Masking for Complex Wing Surfaces

• The MGSD Wing Zero EW's five-layer articulated wings demand precise color separation across curved and overlapping surfaces — and that's exactly what the 4-sheet masking set delivers. Each mask is laser-traced from the actual kit part contours, covering wing binders, chest vents, and armor edges. Letter-coded sections let you tear and apply without scissors, while the medium-high adhesion washi paper stays secure during spraying and peels off residue-free for razor-sharp borders.
• Four full sheets provide complete coverage for the entire model — from the head and chest to every layer of the wing binders and leg armor. The MGSD's complex SD proportions require more masking area than standard kits, and this set accounts for every contour.

Stainless Steel Detail Realism

• Replace flat plastic surfaces with precision-etched stainless steel parts. The etching set covers key areas — head details, wing mechanical textures, chest logos, armor panels, and weapon accents — transforming the standard MGSD build with metallic sharpness that plastic alone cannot achieve.
• Each etching piece is engineered to the exact dimensions of the corresponding SD-scale part, ensuring a seamless fit without modification. The included placement diagram maps every piece to its position on the MGSD Wing Zero EW.

Seamless SD Build Integration

• Both upgrades are engineered specifically for the MGSD Wing Zero EW's unique SD proportions and wing geometry. Whether you're displaying in MS mode, atmospheric re-entry mode, or transformed neo-bird mode, the masking paper and etchings maintain visual consistency across all forms.
• Whether you're a first-time SD builder or a seasoned Gunpla finisher, the included guides make application straightforward — no guesswork, no trial and error. The masking paper's letter-coded system and the etching's placement diagram handle the hardest part: knowing where each piece goes.

How to Use

Masking Paper

1. Identify Sections — Use the letter-coded guide to tear along designated lines. Each section corresponds to a specific model part.
2. Apply to Parts — Press masks firmly onto model pieces before spray painting. Ensure full contact with the surface.
3. Paint & Peel — Once paint is fully dry, carefully peel off masks to reveal crisp, professional-grade color separation lines.

Etchings

1. Locate Positions — Follow the included placement diagram to identify where each etching piece goes (head, wings, armor, weapons).
2. Glue Carefully — Apply a small amount of model cement (not included) to the back of each etching piece. Handle small parts with tweezers — edges are sharp. Press firmly into position and allow glue to cure fully.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does this product include the MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW model kit?

No. This is an upgrade accessory kit only — it contains pre-cut masking paper and/or stainless steel etchings. You need to purchase the Bandai MGSD XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero EW model kit separately.

Q: Is this compatible with the RG Wing Gundam Zero EW?

No. These accessories are designed exclusively for the MGSD (Master Grade SD) version released in November 2024. The RG Wing Zero EW is a different scale with different part shapes — the masking contours and etching dimensions will not align correctly. Each NEWC Pro Pre-Cut product is kit-specific.

Q: How many masking paper sheets are included?

The masking paper set includes 4 sheets of laser-cut imported washi paper. The MGSD Wing Zero EW has more complex color separation areas (especially across the five-layer wings and chest) compared to standard kits, so 4 sheets provide full coverage for the entire model.

Q: Do I need any special tools to use the masking paper?

No special tools beyond your standard spray painting setup. The masking paper is pre-cut and letter-coded — just tear along the lines and apply. You will need spray paint (not included) and a well-ventilated painting area.

Q: What glue should I use for the etchings?

Standard plastic model cement (such as Tamiya Cement or Mr. Cement) works well. Apply a small amount to the back of each etching piece. Handle the small parts with tweezers — the stainless steel edges can be sharp.

Q: What areas do the etchings cover?

The etching set includes detail pieces for the head, wing mechanical textures, chest/waist armor, weapon accents, and custom logos. A placement diagram is included to show exactly where each piece goes on the MGSD Wing Zero EW.

Q: Can I use the masking paper with a hand brush instead of spray paint?

The masking paper is designed for spray painting, which provides the cleanest results. Hand brushing over masking paper may cause paint to seep under the edges. If you do hand brush, use thin coats and let each coat dry fully before applying the next.

Q: Is the bundle option worth it compared to buying separately?

The bundle saves you $5 compared to purchasing the masking paper and etchings individually. It's the best value if you plan to use both upgrades — the masking paper handles the paint work while the etchings add the metal detail finishing. If you only need one type of upgrade, individual options are available.
